Blyth Park to Magnuson Park and Sound Garden - Social Pace

Blyth Park to Magnuson Park and Sound Garden 

Wednesday, June 21st - 10:00 a.m.

Meet at Blyth Park a few minutes before 10:00 for intro/safety briefing.  

Social pace (10-11 mph); 23 mile ride along the Burke Gilman Trail to Magnuson Park, where we will do a loop arond the park before heading to the Sound Garden, which is on NOAA property.  Which may or may not be open to the public yet, we will have to see when we get there.  If you want to get onto the NOAA base, you MUST bring a current identification with you.  There is a security process which takes a few minutes. 

This is mostly flat trail, but there are a few short climbs along the way, especially at the park and coming back up to the trail. 

After a short time at the Sound Garden, we will stop for lunch at the Magnuson Cafe.  https://magnusonbrewery.com/

*** If you'd like a shorter option, (about 17 miles) you can start at LogBoom Park and the group will meet you there at 10:20-10:30.  You should be ready to roll at that time if you start from that location.
