Verlot to Barlow Pass
Meet across from the Verlot Public Service Center, Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls at 9:45 for a 10:00 start. Ride 19+ miles to the gate for Monte Cristo (at Barlow Pass) and return. Regroups as necessary. Stop on the return for lunch/snacks, as we find a spot since the Big Four area is closed for construction. Approximately 40 miles, with gentle grade climbing to the pass, but some longer/harder climbs. Out and back on the paved highway; you can't get lost. And beautiful scenery along the river.
