Group 1 is at this moment is full and waitlisted.

If there is a demand, I will  lead a second group for Dan and Elaine's ride (see below),  officially starting 15 minutes after Dan's,  which gathers at 10 for a 10:15 start on Monday and for a 10:30 Start on Tuesday.

This will be a self-paced, self-guided group with no sweep, geared for the more independent cyclist. If you desire a cue sheet, please go to the route link below and print one for yourself.  It is recommended you ride with others riding your pace but prepared to ride independently.

If you currently are signed up for Dan's group, and you're ok without a sweep,  you should consider signing up for group 2 to make more room for others in Group 1

 Group 2 leader - Steve Linari  425-359-2499

Leavenworth + Cashmere hub and spoke ride. The Monday route is one that this club used to do annually. Both days allow for plenty of rural riding as well as the shoulders  of. busier roads. Monday's ride has some B/C terrain, Tuesday is mostly B terrain. The pace will be mostly steady, with regroups. You should be prepared with a bike in good mechanical shape, and the equipment for repairs such as flat tires. E bike riders will be expected to be familiar with current club E bike policies on our website. Group size limited to 12.

Day 1 - Meet at the public parking lot on the north side of Hwy 2 at the west end of Leavenworth.  Gather at 10:00 for a 10:15 start. Ride streets and highways for 47 miles, up the Chumstick Canyon, over Beaver Summit, into Plain and on to Lake Wenatchee State Park for restrooms. Bring lunch/snacks/water. Then ride out to Cole's Corner, on to Winton via a back road, and finally down the Tumwater Canyon along Highway 2. Traveling by bike allows stops to view this marvelous canyon. Return to town for refreshments. Various motels , restaurants and brew pubs are in town. Route similar to https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42295194

Day 2 - Drive to Cashmere east on Highway 2. Park at Riverside Park on Maple. Gather for 10:30 start. Ride streets and back roads through orchards into Wenatchee to the state park for our break. Return via Easy Street to Monitor, and then to our starting point. This is a 21 mile day to allow for folks returning home. Route similar to https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42290720

Registration will be open starting March 27. You will need to arrange your own lodging. Leavenworth has many lodging options but they do fill up fast. Cashmere is only 12 miles from Leavenworth and has lodging options also.
