Volunteer to help mark the routes for the McClinchy Mile. Roles include carrying cans of paint (in a pannier), checking the RideWithGPS cues, painting the markings (wear old shoes and gloves), and moral support.
Meet at 10 a.m. in Stanwood QFC parking lot, south end (closer to Starbucks).
First priority route is 35 miles on Camano Island. A second day or second group of 2-3 riders will mark 35 mile Bonhoeffer loop. Both routes are hilly terrain - C.
Steady pace in between lots of stopping. This ride will take extra long. Bring snacks.
Weather dependent: Roads must be dry and stay dry for the paint. Two dates are scheduled: Tuesday and/or Thursday, April 18 or 20.
