Samish Island - Low Steady Pace

Meet at the Skagit Airport (parking lot in front) at 10:00 a.m. for a 32 mile ride around west Skagit County.  Route will go along Bayview Edison Road and around Samish Island.  We will stop for lunch in Edison, at the Mariposa Taqueria (if it's open) and continue south back to the airport. 

Overall elevation is less than 700 feet, but there are some long climbs and one steep descent, A and B Terrain.  Pace will be LOW steady, meaning 12-13 mph on the flats, slower on hills.  

Should be a warm clear day, but poor weather forecast, or heavy smoke conditions will cancel this ride. 

Restrooms open at the start of the ride inside the airport building.
