Bay View - Guemes Island Loop Ride

Register by 8 PM evening before the ride.  Group size limited to 8. 

Moderate pace (14 – 16 mph), 47 miles, A & B terrain with ~2,000 feet of elevation gain.  There are opportunities to shortcut many of the hills if you are willing to wait for the hill riders.  Frequent regroups and rest stops expected along the way.

Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM roll out at the Bay View Shoreline Trail Parking lot on 2nd St in Bay View.  This is a bigger than normal bike adventure with friends.  Porta-potty usually nearby.

Ride on paved trails and roads with 2 miles of hard-pack gravel Shoreline Trail one way.  We will also ride the Tommy Thompson Trail bridge over Fidalgo Bay both ways.  On the way to Anacortes we will ride around March's Point. 

Guemes Island Ferry info:

• NO CASH.  Punch cards, credit or debit card ONLY.
• Senior (65+) & bicycle $2 
• Adult & bicycle $4
• MASK MAY BE REQUIRED.  Bring your own.
