9:00 AM - TRAFTON TRAILHEAD 26703 115th Ave NE, Arlington Take exit 208 off of I-5 and drive east on Highway 530 to Arlington. From Arlington, continue east on 530 for 4 miles and turn left on 115th Ave NE. About 1/2 mile down 115th look for the red barn and blue silo. A small parking lot is on the left. Be respectful of farm buildings, equipment, and residence, which are off-limits.
Ride the mostly gravel and somewhat shade covered Whitehorse Trail into Darrington for refreshments. Bring plenty of water and snacks in route. Food and water available in town - We'll gather at there nice city park for about an hour before returning back to Trafton. Recommend Gravel, Hybrid, or E bike with at least 35C tires. BRING at least large water bottles (half frozen helps).
48 miles. Average riding pace 12-15 mph. A and B terrain on crushed gravel and a few miles of pavement.
