Climb Washington and Rainy Pass
Ride Leader: Kristin Kinnamon, 425-923-7868
Ride Description: Meet at 9 a.m. at Ross Dam Trailhead for a 9:30 departure to ride beautiful Hwy. 20 in the North Cascades. Plenty of shoulder and relatively low traffic on this 56 mile out and back ride - half up the mountains, half down (often with a head or sidewind).
Self-paced ride with re-groups at the tops of Rainy and Washington passes. Picnic stop with a view at the top!
Bring all your own food and water (or a filter) - no services the entire route. Weather is expected to be warm, so water will be especially important.

Carpooling encouraged. It's a 2 hour drive from Everett/Marysville. Look for someone (or two) to share the ride. Plan to chip in for gas.
Note: Parking lot is currently closed for paving. If they don't finish this week, a different meeting place will be announced (adding a few miles and a hill). Also, a non-club ride starts from the same spot at 10 a.m. , so you'll have company no matter your pace.
