Day of week and date of ride: Sunday, January 9, 2022. Join us for this year's edition of the Eagle Ride in Skagit County. We will be passing the World Famous Eagle Tree on this route!
Start location and time: Meet at the Skagit County Regional Airport parking lot (15400 Airport Dr., Burlington) by 10:15 am for a 10:30 roll out.
Description of route, food stop information: The route will take us through scenic Skagit County as we tour the farmlands and surrounding water areas in search of the American Bald Eagle. Other birds are likely, but they come as a bonus to the hearty riders who brave the cold temperatures to see these majestic birds in the their natural environment! There will be a restroom available at the starting point of the route and we can stop at the Corner Pub at mile 15.4 for lunch.
Distance, Pace and Terrain Code (A, B, C, D): 25 miles at a steady pace over A & a little bit of B terrain. Approximately 487 feet of elevation.
