(CANCELED) Legion Park and Sorticulture

Legion Park and Sorticulture 

Friday, June 11th, 10:00 a.m. start time.

Meet at 9:45 at Everett Mall (park near the LA Fitness on the far side of the lot (east of the bus depot) 

We'll ride up to Legion Park, to get in about 20 miles at a social pace (10-12 mph).  Rolling terrain (A and B) with most of the elevation gain on the way back.  Some of the route will be on Interurban Trail some on neighborhood roads, but a few areas of busier traffic arterials with bike lanes.  

We will stop on the way back south to visit Sorticulture for about an hour or more possibly.

Weather constraints:  Rain or poor weather forecast will cancel this ride.  

Other important details:  Bring light lunch or snack for a  mid-ride break at Legion Park.  We may decide to stop for coffee/tea/pastry at the Sorticulture event, but that will depend on crowds and circumstances.    Bring a sturdy LOCK, but I think there may be bike valet parking at the event.
