Volunteer for McClinchy Mile

Volunteers get a commemorative bandana and burger, plus can ride McClinchy for free! (but sign in on club member sheet or you cost us extra!) You can eat your burger anytime - after your shift or with club around 5 p.m.

Pre-Event Volunteers

Haller Park – 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 - help unload equipment and get setup at Haller Park. Show up if you can help or contact Mitch.

Food Distribution: Contact Debbie Kawamoto (Food Coordinator) and ask how you can help.  Rest stop food will be distributed on Saturday or earlier.

Start-Line Volunteers

Registration from 6 to 10 a.m. at Haller Park or Stanwood Middle School. Various assignments inside conference rooms. See Debby, Kristin or Mitch.

Parking: from 6:15 to 10 a.m. at Haller Park. Wear warm clothes and safety vests to direct traffic; parking maps available. Cell or walkie-talkies. See Bill Weber.

SAG Support

Includes “bikes on road” sign placement (AM) and pickup (PM) and driving your car with bike and people carrying capacity, floor pump, and cell phone on selected route segment (or parking at stationary location where riders pass by).  Get paint (to fix route issues if needed) and SAG bin from Haller (AM) or prior sag (PM).

Food and Rest Stops

Prep and serve food, welcome riders, keep restroom tidy, recycle. Hours listed are estimated stop open/close times (volunteers work earlier/later). Shift times have flexibility. Coordinate your hours with Rest Stop Lead (bold).

Stanwood Middle School: Kristin Kinnamon:  Stop is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bonhoeffer Gardens: - Tim Wise: Stop is open 7-10 a.m. for Century Riders only

Tyee Grocery on Camano Island: Kiwanis volunteers

Family Ride

This year's family ride is on Saturday, April 27 and is sponsored by Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop.
