Skagit Airport - Samish Island Loop Ride - 10:00 AM Saturday September 5th

Meet 9:45 AM at Port of Skagit County building parking lot at 15400 Airport Dr, Skagit Regional Airport (west of Burlington, WA).  This is across from Chuckanut Brewery South Nut Taproom.  10:00 am roll out.  Restrooms are open.

Please RSVP the Ride Leader by text or e-mail by 8 PM evening before the ride if you intend to go. 

Group size is limited to 5 people including the Ride Leader.  

Moderate pace group (14 – 16 mph), 47 miles, 1,300 or so feet of gain A/B terrain. Mid-ride breaks.  Outdoor lunch stop likely in Edison at The Old Edison.

This ride is a loop from Skagit Airport to the beach at Bay View State Park (mile 6), then an out and back ride to Samish Island, then to Edison for lunch (mile 27), on to Blanchard, Bow and back to the finish.  Roads are mostly the Skagit County country type with a couple miles of Chuckanut Drive / SR11.
