Explore some of the most traffic free roads in Skagit county.   Meet Saturday 8/22 - 9:15 for a 9:30 am roll out at Park and Ride across the street from the co-op in beautiful Mount Vernon.  70 miles round trip at a fast Moderate (about 18 MPH) pace on flat sections.  No sustained climbs.  Regular stops to enjoy scenery and catch your breath.  Expect to return to start by 3:00 to 3:30.   Expect to bring 2 water bottles and food.  Will take 20 min. lunch stop at local store for water/extra food.   Rain will cancel or may delay start time.   Check updates Saturday morning.   Following current BIKES club guidelines for Covid avoidance required.  RSVP text me or reply to this topic - Lou 425-446-9019 if you'd like to join the adventure.   I can bring a total of 4 other riders.   Route is attached with elevation gain.   You'll earn extra dessert for this ride.
