Brisk Rides have an average speed of 16-18 mph on the flats with no headwind. Speed is adjusted for hills and wind. Brisk rides can also be hillier than other groups. Check the route profile if one is posted in the ride updates forum.

Brisk riders are asked to be self sufficient. Have a copy of the route or cue sheet, tools/supplies/knowledge to fix your own flats, lights for safety during darker or poor visibility days (mostly for motor vehicle traffic), and fenders for wet days.
