Ride to check out the viaduct demolition.

I'm estimating the ride as 25 miles round trip.  My thoughts are we'd start late morning or noon and bike to the water front to check out how the demo is going, bring your cameras.  We'd return to the Ballard area for a lunch stop.

    UPDATE

I am targeting next Sunday, January 27th for this ride.  Start will be at 11AM outside Zoka Coffee just off Berk-Gilman trail north of University Village.  again, this is weather dependent, although long range forecast looks OK.

this is about 25 miles, there and back, at a social pace on Burk-Gillman and the waterfront trails.  Note that we will be walking through the Ballard Locks park area to get across the canal.

please email me if you are interested as case I need to move the start to Magnuson Park due to parking. (it's only an extra 3 miles each way.)
