1. Green River Trail closure alert
Starting today, Oct. 12 through Oct. 16, the segment of the Green River Trail from Central Avenue S to the trail access point at 8721 S 259th Street in Kent may be closed for paving preparation and paving. Green River Trail users should expect temporary, intermittent closures or delays and should watch for uneven trail surfaces during the preparation process. 2. Eastside Rail Corridor open houses start tonight!
We want your vision and invite you to review Eastside Rail Corridor trail alternatives. Please join us at one of three open houses this week or join the online open house this month to help provide feedback on proposed alignment alternatives and share where you want amenities and access points.
Drop in anytime during the hours listed below. Each open house will focus on a specific segment of the corridor. There will also be an online open house that will be available on the project website from Oct. 19 to Nov. 12, 2015.
