&lt;p align="left" style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font color="black" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font color="black"&gt;Summer colors, coastal views, and a ride around an island on your bike with friends.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font color="black" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;Meet at 8:45 AM for a 9 AM rollout from Terry's Corner Park &amp;amp; Ride (next to Camano Commons) on Camano Island.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Moderate (14 – 16 mph) to brisk (16 - 18 mph) pace expected.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;span&gt;41 miles, 2,700 feet of gain, A/B/C terrain.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This will be an island loop route ride with stops to check out points of interest.&amp;nbsp; Bring water, snacks and&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;picnic lunch&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;There are no services in the vicinity of lunch time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;Coffee/lunch at Camano Commons Bakery after the ride.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Moderate pace, easy terrain&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;40 miles, 1,000 feet total climbing&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This ride is mainly on the Centennial Trail including some not-very-busy streets, and that sidewalk stretch through Arlington. We'll ride a short stretch of gravel/hardpack through Haller Park in Arlington; okay for road tires (= or &amp;gt;25c).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We'll stop for coffee at Biscuit &amp;amp; Bean in Lake Stevens.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please have route on your phone, GPS device, or paper.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please have necessary flat repair/tube replacement tooling and supplies.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Me&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;et at 8:15 AM&lt;/strong&gt; for an 8&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"&gt;:30 AM roll out at the Everett's Edgewater Park near the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font&gt;It's a 1 mile and 10-minute bike ride to the Mukilteo Ferry Landing via the toll booth.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 16px; font-size: 14px;"&gt;We will plan on taking the 9:00 AM ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton.&amp;nbsp; Pay parking in Mukilteo Lighthouse Beach Park is available, but we can park for free at Edgewater Park and ride bikes to the ferry.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font color="black" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This will be an early start for a bigger than average day on your bike with friends.&amp;nbsp; We will each buy our own ferry ticket, ride the ferry to Clinton, ride our bikes around south-east Whidbey Island, ride the ferry back to Mukilteo, then bike back to Edgewater Park.&amp;nbsp; Rest stops expected.&amp;nbsp; We will do lunch at The Commons Cafe in Langely (~ bike mile 25.5).&amp;nbsp; Frequent regroups.&amp;nbsp; Bring enough water and snacks.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Meet at the Conway Ball fields near the corner of Main Street and Greenfield at 10:15 for a 10:30 rollout.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;This is a 21 mile, &lt;strong&gt;Social Pace (10-11 mph on the flats)&lt;/strong&gt; mostly flat, low traffic rural farm area, with one bridge to climb at the start and end of the ride.&amp;nbsp; There are some areas where the traffic can be busier, but will have a good shoulder.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;There is &lt;strong&gt;NO bathroom at the start,&lt;/strong&gt; plan accordingly. (Shell station as you come into town).&amp;nbsp; About mile 15 we will make a bathroom stop at the Skagit Wildlife Area trailhead (this is about 1/2 mile of gravel roadway to get there), or we might stop at the Snow Goose.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Bring water and snack.&amp;nbsp; Be prepared with tools to fix flats, or a backup plan in case of mechanical or emergency.&amp;nbsp; Riders please be aware of our club policies for e-bikes and joining our rides.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;span&gt;High Steady / Mid Moderate Pace&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p align="left"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;There are two options for this ride, the &lt;a href="https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40706797" target="_blank"&gt;full (almost) 50 miles&lt;/a&gt; and a &lt;a href="https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55878782" target="_blank"&gt;shorter 35 mile option&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Pace on the flats will be high steady to mid moderate gravel pace.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;The route is straightforward: follow the trail out to Darrington, have a snack (coffee stop), and ride back.&amp;nbsp; There really aren't any hills, just a constant, gentle grade.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Option 1 - the full (almost) 50:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; Meet at the &lt;a href="https://www.google.com/maps/search/Whitehorse+Trail+trafton+trailhead/@48.2380277,-122.0768901,171m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&amp;amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDYyNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Whitehorse Trail Trafton Trailhead off of Kroeze Road&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; east of Arlington at &lt;strong&gt;9:45 for a 10:00&lt;/strong&gt; rollout.&amp;nbsp; Note that Kroeze Rd has two names and I think the street sign gives a street number and not a name.&amp;nbsp; If you haven't been there before navigation is quite helpful.&amp;nbsp; There is no signage.&amp;nbsp; Park in the small lot near the blue silo.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;strong style=""&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Option 2 - the 35:&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Meet at the&lt;/font&gt; &lt;strong style=""&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/Whitehorse+Trail+Trailhead/@48.2710515,-121.951606,1229m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m10!1m2!2m1!1sMiller+Shingle+Trailhead!3m6!1s0x548539006730a3fb:0x6870302377d653cc!8m2!3d48.2705303!4d-121.949541!15sChhNaWxsZXIgU2hpbmdsZSBUcmFpbGhlYWSSAQRwYXJr4AEA!16s%252Fg%252F11xz6z3xdm?entry=ttu&amp;amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDYyNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Miller Shingle Trailhead&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;off of state route 530 just before Oso.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 16px;"&gt;IMPORTANT: if you are doing the 35 mile version text me ahead of the ride so we know to meet you on the way.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;If no text, I'll plan to see you for the full ride.&amp;nbsp; We'll be leaving Trafton at 10:00, going about 7 miles at a steady pace, so &lt;strong&gt;expect to roll out about 10:30.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;This is a mostly gravel ride.&amp;nbsp; The Whitehorse trail isn't too rough, but it does suffer from budget-based neglect in some areas.&amp;nbsp; Experienced riders comfortable with trail rides on gravel and mountain bikes should be fine.&amp;nbsp; Road bikes and tires are not advised (really, trying to ride this on 25mm tires is a very bad idea).&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Bring snacks, water, and lunch if you are not planning to pick something up in Darrington.&amp;nbsp; There are very few options for water and snacks along the way, so plan accordingly.&amp;nbsp; We will stop at the Oso slide memorial in both directions (8 miles from the Trafton trailhead) for bathroom stops.&amp;nbsp; If it's open we'll also stop at the Bluegrass Festival grounds for a bathroom stop.&amp;nbsp; There is a questionable Honey Bucket at the start in Trafton.&amp;nbsp; I'd advise a stop before getting there if in doubt.&amp;nbsp; The bathrooms at &lt;a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/Haller+Park/@48.2028786,-122.1310471,1034m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x54854f81085096b1:0xe7608b462be52edc!2sHaller+Park!8m2!3d48.2028751!4d-122.1284668!16s%252Fg%252F11h07hs76!3m5!1s0x54854f81085096b1:0xe7608b462be52edc!8m2!3d48.2028751!4d-122.1284668!16s%252Fg%252F11h07hs76?entry=ttu&amp;amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDYyNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D" target="_blank"&gt;Haller Park&lt;/a&gt; are right on the way and usually open.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;font&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Bring&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font style=""&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;the usual fix-it stuff - especially flat repair type fix-it stu&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;ff.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;There are berry canes along the way.&amp;nbsp; If you have a jersey that you cherish, don't wear it, pick something you care less about.&amp;nbsp; (I've only snagged a jersey once on the ride to Darrington.)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font style=""&gt;All&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;riders should be familiar with the club's &lt;a href="https://bikesclub.org/sys/website/?pageId=1791877"&gt;Ride Safety Guidelines&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; In addition, E-Bike riders need to be familiar with the club's &lt;a href="https://bikesclub.org/sys/website/?pageId=1791878"&gt;E Bike Policy&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 16px;"&gt;&lt;font color="#333333" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;This is a 5-day / 4-night unsupported pavement &amp;amp; gravel tour from Mill Creek to Stampede Pass with overnight motel stays in North Bend each way and two nights at Snoqualmie Pass.&amp;nbsp; No camping gear required, but you will need to carry your gear and clothing on your bike.&amp;nbsp; Meals will be at locally available food establishments.&amp;nbsp; Carry your picnic lunches for days 2, 3, and 4.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Restroom stops depend upon availability of facilities.
